Construction commencement for two projects namely Phong Phu primary school and Phong Phu lower secondary school by Gia Thy construction corporation

A formal construction commencement ceremony by Gia Thy Construction Corporation for two projects namely Phong Phu primary school and Phong Phu lower secondary school at Phong Phu residential quarter 4, Phong Phu commune, Binh Chanh district was held on June 8th 2015 with the presence of distinguished guests who are cadres from some district authorities, partners and the entire Management Board and staff of Gia Thy Construction Corporation.

The Phong Phu primary school project, whose employer is the Investment & Construction Projects Managment Unit of Binh Chanh district, has total project amount of VND 81,231,589,579 and construction duration for 355 days (including weekends and holidays). Gia Thy Construction Corporation was the successful bidder in accordance with Decision No. 1414/QĐ-BQLĐTXDCT dated December 25th 2014 by  the Investment & Construction Projects Managment Unit of Binh Chanh district on approval of the bidding results for the construction & installation package of Phong Phu primary school project.
This project is constructed on the total land area of 10,168 m2, with construction scale covering:

- Main works: 01 ground floor, 03 upper floors including 30 classes and functional rooms with area of 2,999 m2; refectory – multiuse building with 01 ground floor and 01 upper floor with area of 6,806 m2.

- New equipment to serve learning with total invested amount of VND 4,527,619,800.

- Auxiliary works including: Parking lot, guard room, main gate, fence, water tank underground, yard and path, verdure – grass cover, water supply & drainage system, power supply system, fire control and arrester system, and communication system.

The Phong Phu Lower secondary school project has total investment amount of VND 139,777,144,000, constructed on an area of 16,000m2 with construction duration for 445 days (including weekends and holidays). The construction scale covers:

- Main works: 01 ground floor, 03 upper floors with 45 classes and functional rooms.

- Auxiliary works including: Guard room – technical room, parking lot for teachers and pupils,  fence, main gate, water tank underground, yard and path, verdure – grass cover, grass ground for physical culture and sports, water supply & drainage system, power supply system, fire control and arrester system, and communication system.

- New equipment to serve learning.

These are two projects constructed according to the school planning of Binh Chanh district to better server demands of teaching and learning and satisfy school standardization requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training.
